This is where we live rain or shine. When this jewelry project began as a website out of a garage (more of a gazebo) off Vine drive, one of us decided to buy a house in town. That made it easy to decide what town we would open Darvier Jewelry Design Studio. We are excited to add and retire charity activities to our list as they are enjoyed. Past charitable events have been wonderful and satisfying ranging from Scouts to student trips abroad. Until we align with further projects (Teachers!) here are three of our favorite this year. Love Letters
For a special Valentine's day idea we offer various engraved postage stamp pendants based on vintage love letters (and presumably some bills) from the mid to late 1800's. Aside from special pricing for the detailed piece already made, you will receive the actual letter of inspiration and it's contents that match the pendant engraving similar to what's shown here. Each letter is unique and irreplaceable. Proceeds from this project go to the United Service Organizations for the month of February.

Charity Auctions
We have been making this trio of Princess Bride themed pendants ever since a client of ours rented the local drive in for their wedding featuring this film. The project came naturally. A few years later an individual hosted a silent action benefiting the Foothills Gateway Foundation.

NANA'S CARROT BREAd
3/4 cup canola oil
1 cup sugar (3/4 cup will do)
2 eggs, already gently beaten
1 tsp vanilla
All in a large mixing bowl...
Sift together & add the above ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
Add 1 cup finely grated carrots
Bake in loaf pan 1hr 10min @ 350ºF
(Walnuts on top or chopped in batter)
